Proximity to Power poster

Whether it’s for the noticeboard in the staff room or for use in your own in-house training, this A2 version of the intertwine Privilege, Resistance & Proximity to Power Wheel is a colourful and clear exploration of five key areas: sex and gender; sexuality and family; health, ability and aging; culture, race and ethnicity; and social status, class and education.

The aim is to use the poster as a discussion starter about the systems that produce disparity of power based on these attributes, the way the margins are a ‘site of resistance’ to quote bell hooks, and other questions related to power and privilege such as the function of stigma and passing.
