intertwine has a responsibility to ensure that participants are supported to engage safely and accessibly at our events, and that we respond to distress, concerns, or conflict that arises appropriately and ethically.
Even though the co-design session is only for a day, we understand that everyone will be coming with various experiences with oppressive systems, which are ongoing and intersecting, and may be exacerbated by the content shared and discussed in intertwine’s sessions.The following questions allow you to tell us more about any specific needs you may have, so we can accommodate them as much as possible, as well as ensure that if distress occurs, we can respond in the way that’s most helpful for you. If you have any other concerns, please reach out to one of the facilitators.
