The aim is to use the poster as a discussion starter about the systems that produce disparity of power based on these attributes, the way the margins are a ‘site of resistance’ to quote bell hooks, and other questions related to power and privilege such as the function of stigma and passing.

This edition is updated to version 13 with additions to sex and gender, and linguistic changes in all five segments, for example shifting from property ownership/renting/homeless to secure housing/insecure housing/homeless or incarcerated. Developed over years of co-creation, this resource is the most comprehensive exploration of marginalised and privileged attributes available.
