About intertwine
intertwine is a harm-prevention charity working to create the circumstances for gender equity, cultural and racial justice, freedom of sexuality and gender identity and a social model of disability.
We take a primary prevention approach to help organisations understand the underlying drivers of social violence and dismantle the systemic power structures that create marginalisation and oppression.
intertwine has a Board of Directors and an Advisory Panel consisting entirely of people with lived experience of intersecting disadvantage. We explicitly mentor and create work for young people with lived experience of intersecting disadvantage.
We are a registered Deductible Gift Recipient and all donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
