Rainbow Health: Pride in Prevention Evidence Guide

Pride in Prevention summarises the current available evidence drivers of family violence as experienced by LGBTIQ communities & provides recommendations for priority interventions to address it. This guide was led by Rainbow Health, with design & editing from our managing director, Rosanne Bersten!

This guide is for people interested in creating projects that work with men to prevent violence against women in their communities. It can be used as a step-by-step guide for creating your own project, or to inspire & support projects you may already be running or creating.

GAP analysis action research is designed to identify, examine, & address discrimination & intersecting gender and power inequalities in order to drive transformative, systemic change. It aims to enable evidence-based programming & advocacy that advance gender equality & social justice.

Private Lives 3: The Health & Wellbeing of LGBTQ people in Australia

Private Lives 3 (PL3) is the third iteration of the Private Lives surveys, providing vital information for health professionals, service providers, community organisations & governments to better understand and support the health & wellbeing of LGBTIQ people in Australia.

Writing Themselves In 4: The Health & Wellbeing of LGBTQA+ young people in Australia

A national survey conducted by La Trobe University, with support from Rainbow Health Australia and Rainbow Network, asking young LGBTQA+ people about their experiences with education, homelessness, harassment, assault, mental health, community connections & more.

Engaging men: Invitational-narrative approaches

This qualitative study explored how invitational narrative ways of working successfully engage men and enable behavioural and attitudinal change. The study explored the historical and philosophical foundations of invitational narrative practice, and the principles and skills that practitioners use in their work.

This toolkit has been developed to help organizations & individual practitioners to address intersectionality in policies and in programmes. It may be used to assess knowledge, attitudes and practice, at a programme level, or at policy level to better understand & address the intersecting effects of policy on marginalised persons.

CRIS Consortium: Working with men & boys for social justice assessment tool

The Working with Men & Boys for Social Justice Assessment Tool aims to provide leaders, designers & facilitators of programs or initiatives for men & boys the opportunity to review, reflect on and strengthen principles of gender & social justice. 



Women’s Health Victoria: Victorian Women’s Health Atlas

The Victorian Women’s Health Atlas is a tool to assist in the identification of gender impacts on key health areas. The purpose of the Atlas is to increase the availability of reliable data for evidence based decisions about service design, emerging priorities and program planning.
